Obituary
A life so beautifully lived by Kathy Mulvehill will be forever remembered and treasured by her family and friends. To no one's surprise, one of the last things Kathy said was "Nothing is better than a home full of family" and "Let's have a party!"
Kathy will always be the dedicated and loving mother of Anthony Rubino and his partner Kristen Moore of Quincy, Timothy Mulvehill and his wife Samantha Fonseca-Moreira of East Walpole, Jackie Mulvehill of Brighton, Keri Mulvehill, PFC Brett Mulvehill, USMC, Chris Mulvehill and their dog Logan.
Daughter of the late Elaine Hegerich and George Hegerich. Beloved sister of Laurie (Hegerich) Dickey of Sandwich, Danny Hegerich of Stockbridge, Michelle and Paul Mizzoni of Boston and Greg and Robyn Hegerich of Pembroke. Forever connected to Chris Mulvehill of Marshfield.
Loving and amazing grandmother to Brayden White, Hunter Moore, Matthew Mulvehill and Aunty Kathy to her many nieces and nephews. Kathy was also adored by her numerous cousins and Aunts and Uncles.
Kathy passed away on August 2nd 2021 and will be remembered for her love of life and her vibrancy. She met the evils of lung cancer but not without putting up the strongest fight.
Kathy was one of the most hospitable, generous and loving women on this planet. With calves of steel, a day at Kathy's home meant a delicious Italian meal prepared and served with love. She adored her entire family and had a special bond with her siblings, nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly. Kathy embraced life's experiences with fearless enthusiasm, a true heart of gold and the best humor.
Kathy loved everyone around her but she loved her children and grandchildren even more deeply. She will be by their sides in spirit, smiling, cheering and proud of all their future accomplishments. She always put others ahead of herself, she would do anything for her family, friends and especially her kids.
Cheers to the strongest woman we know, we hope there are endless bags of ice for your Captain Morgan in the clouds. The pain we feel now is a result of all the love you gave us. We love you Kath (mom) forever 💜
A service to remember the life of Kathy will be held between the hours of 1:00 - 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 14th at MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield MA
