Kathleen (Kathy) Anne Taylor, passed suddenly on April 12, 2020 at the age of 70.

Kathy was born and raised in Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Roslindale High School, class of 1967. She was also a graduate of the Boston Business School.

Kathy began her career at the MBTA in 1970 and left in 1973 to start a family. She was a loving homemaker for serveral years. In 1984 she began work as a travel agent with Hartley Tours. In 2004, Kathy accepted a position as a Personnel Coordinator in the Human Resources Department with Star Market in Marshfield. Kathy thrived in her position with Star and truly enjoyed all her years working there until her retirement in 2018.
Kathy will be remembered as a great cook, an avid reader, one who loved to have a good laugh and most of all as a caring and loving mother and grandmother.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Tierney Mckay and husband Al McKay of Marshfield; Cherished grandchildren, Alex Jr. and Thomas; Brother Berard Tierney and husband Patrick Leonard of Arlington VA; Michael Tierney and his wife Linda Tierney of Marshfield; Sister Margaret Tierney of Needham; Sisters in law Marion Tierney of Needham and Patricia Tierney of Plymouth; Several nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Kathy was predeceased by her husband Richard Taylor, and her beloved son Casey Taylor; Brothers Joseph Tierney and James Tierney and brother in law Thomas Mulhern.
