Kathryn P. (Cleary) Dalziel, of Marshfield, Ma., formerly of Falmouth and Braintree, died peacefully in her sleep, on March 28, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was 84 years old. Devoted wife of the late John R. Dalziel; loving mom to Kathryn Howie and her husband Ron of Kingston, Ma., John P. Dalziel and his wife Deborah of Cary, NC., Lisa Leahy and her husband Terence of North Attleboro, Ma.; cherished Nena to Elizabeth, Meghan, Allison, Sarah, John, Anne, Amanda and Audrey; beloved sister of Mary Louise (Cleary) White of Abington, Ma. and the late John (Jackie) Cleary. Pat leaves many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Born and raised in Dorchester, Ma., and a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School, Pat was warm, fun-loving, and a good friend to all. Pat cherished her family above all and was a devoted, loving caretaker and mother to her family. It was what she was most proud of. She loved to travel and play tennis or golf in her heyday. Pat was also a proud member of the Turtles, Guavas, and the BOWACs. Those of you in the know will understand.
She was a proud volunteer at the Sons of Italy in Braintree, METCO and as a parent aid "patterning" special needs children. Prior to her move to Falmouth, Ma, Pat worked for many years at Champion/International Paper in Braintree, Ma.
The services and burial will be private, and a memorial will be planned for the future. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's memory may be made to The Children's Melanoma Foundation 75 Washington Street, Norwell, MA 02061.
