Packer, Kenneth A. "Ken" 74, of Duxbury, Nov 19, 2015. Beloved husband of Jean (Sesock) Packer. Loving father of Michelle Helvey (John) of Virginia, Monique O'Leary (Keith) of Wakefield, Aimee Glowka (Michael) of Plymouth, Jolene Packer of Plymouth, Laura Gilsdorf (Kevin) of Marston Mills and Frank Burton III of South Dakota. Ken was also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild many nieces and nephews. Brother of Raymond Packer of Weymouth, Douglas Packer (Mary Grace) of Medford and the late Patricia Hammastrom.
Ken was born in Boston raised in Weymouth and was a graduate of Weymouth Voc Tech. Ken joined the Marine Corps in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1964 with the rank of Corporal. Ken was a truck driver for many years and in 2008 he retired from Graham Waste. He lived life to the fullest and family meant everything to him, Ken loved telling jokes and was always the life of the party, he's loved and will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday Nov 23, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St (rte. 139) Marshfield.
A Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. at 1:30 PM.
