Kevin Joseph Dalton, age 78, of Marshfield, MA, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.  Kevin is survived by his wife, Barbara Dalton, of Marshfield, his daughter, Hilary Easter and husband William of Middleboro, daughter Kerin Thrasher and husband Dean of Lakeville, step-daughter Laurie Guthrie and husband Michael of Stow, stepson Christopher Welch and wife Kristen of Plymouth, and step-daughter Jennifer Diauto and husband Anthony of Pembroke.  He was the son of the late William and Mary (Barr) Dalton.

Kevin had many grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Dean, Jr., Matthew, Olivia, Brett, Brenda, Aaron, Samantha, Maddie, Zach, Joey, Grace, Michael and Thomas, as well as four great grandchildren:  Braedon, Raegan, Millie and Julian.  He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will remember him fondly.

Kevin was a family man who loved to vacation on the Cape with Barbara each summer, often surrounded by his extended family and friends.  Kevin worked for the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department for many years after he closed his Carpet Store in Bridgewater.  He was the owner of the Constable's Network in Marshfield until his retirement last year.

After graduating from Brockton High School, he settled in Bridgewater with his family and later moved to Braintree and then Marshfield.  He was social and often involved in local town politics.  He loved to share his extensive library of dad jokes and silly songs.  His stories of growing up with his brothers, Willie, Jimmy, Bob, Danny and Tommy and his sister Cathy always drew a large crowd!  Kevin loved movies and could, in fact, have opened a movie store with the thousands of movies he collected over the years.  He will leave a large void in his family's lives and will be missed more than words can express.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Marshfield Elks 1321 Ocean Street, Marshfield on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 2:00 to -5:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kevin's name to the Alzheimer's Association online at ALZ.com or by mail to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
