Kevin J. Gilbride of Marshfield passed away on November 19, 2021 at the age of 59. He is the beloved husband of Christine (Altavilla) Gilbride and father of Jeremy R. Gilbride and his partner Jaime Ryan of Anaheim, CA and Colin Gilbride of Marshfield. Loving son of Pauline (Canesious) Phillip Gilbride (deceased) of N. Easton; dear brother of Karen Raynard and her husband Thomas of Easton, Phillip Gilbride and his wife Frances of Braintree, John Gilbride and his wife Deborah, Cheryl Gilbride of Easton, and Dawn Philbrook and her husband Harry of Westboro. Kevin also leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kevin was a proud alumnus of Boston University's Mallory Institute of Pathology. Throughout his professional career, Kevin contributed to life-changing projects, including breakthrough treatments for multiple sclerosis, the human papillomavirus, and skin cell therapies for burn victims. In his personal life, Kevin enjoyed fishing, hiking, beach and boating, tinkering with classic cars, travel, and of course, Boston sports. Most of all, Kevin loved spending time with his family, his dogs Bugz and Daisey, and his cats Mittens and KoKo. He was always one to crack a joke and bring a smile to those he loved.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield.
