Kevin Thomas Kimmett, born October 7, 1957, passed away on February 8, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Patrick and Frances Kimmett.
Kevin is survived by his brother, Robert Kimmett, and Robert's wife, Eileen Kimmett. He was predeceased by his brothers, Patrick Kimmett, and his wife, Denise Kimmett, Thomas Kimmett, the beloved late husband of Sharon Kimmett.
Kevin was a loyal and loving father to his daughter, Jilliane Kimmett, and a proud grandfather to Jesse Malaguti and Olivia Coleman. He shared many years of marriage with Debra Cannata Kimmett and was a loving presence in the lives of her daughters, Melissa, Jen, and Megan Douglas.
A hardworking man, Kevin spent his career in painting and construction. Outside of work, he found joy in life's simple pleasures—relaxing at the beach and taking camping trips up north. He had a deep love for his extended family, cherishing the bonds he shared with his many cousins, both here and across the pond, as well as his nieces, nephews, and friends who became like family.
Kevin was a storyteller, often reminiscing about his parents and the brothers he held close in his heart. His warmth and humor brought smiles to those around him, and he never hesitated to share a kind word. His daughter will always hold dear the way he proudly spoke of her, never needing more than one child because, as he would say, "Why would I have more when the one I have is the best?"
Kevin's love and kindness will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Services will be private in Randolph at Saint Mary's, with a celebration of life to follow this spring.
Rest in peace, Dad. I hope you know how much I loved you.
