It was a Thursday morning, July 11th, 1985 when Kevin was born. He came into this world a fighter and he had already made up his mind that he was going to live his life his way and on his terms. As a young boy, Kevin enjoyed playing baseball and spending time at the Marshfield Baseball Fields. His love of baseball quickly changed as he became a teenager, and anything with a motor (dirt bikes, quads, cars, boats) became his new, lifelong hobby.
Kevin graduated from Marshfield High School in 2003 and went on to work at John Foster Lumber. Over the years at Foster he developed relationships with many members of the community. You could always drive by Foster and see Kevin's freshly detailed truck out front or his boat in the side yard. He always extended a helping hand to assist with the set up of Grad Night Live and the Marshfield Fair. Kevin was not one for traveling and would joke that he needed a passport to go pass the split, unless he was headed to Newfound Lake.
Kevin's true passion was on his boats at Newfound Lake or in the ocean. He recently rebuilt the engine, again, in his boat to go faster. If it was only a few mph, the faster the better. Kevin spent his summers at Newfound Lake with his family and friends. He recently fulfilled a lifelong dream and purchased land on the lake with his siblings. He spent most of his days on his boat, taking his sister waterskiing and those brave enough to get behind his boat water tubing. His lake days would end on his boat catching the sunset, a late-night dance party listening to music and spending quality time those closest to him. Newfound Lake was his second home and it brought Kevin a sense of comfort and peace.
Kevin lived his life in the fast lane, literally. If there was a throttle or a pedal, it was all the way down. A favorite saying of his was "Hammer Down!". Kevin lived in Marshfield his entire life and had a very special, protective relationship with his entire family. He developed lifelong relationships with childhood friends that he would now call his brothers. He was a proud son, brother, uncle, god father, nephew, cousin, and friend. Kevin has always been the person that you could call, and he would answer no matter and would probably be on his way "coming in hot". Kevin has left a lasting imprint on everyone that knew him. He is smiling down on us from his boat in the heavenly oceans.
