Laureen Waters of Marshfield passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 28, 2024, at the age of 85.

Laureen was born in Boston. She was the daughter of the late Laurence and Lucy Sullivan. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Waters. She was the loving mother to Debra Waters Fredrickson and her husband, Bruce Fredrickson of Hanson, Denise Boisvert and her husband, Daniel of Marshfield, and Lisbeth Galvin, and her husband, Daniel of Marshfield. She also leaves behind her sister, Mary Ann Woods, of Park City, Utah. She was the loving Mimi to Emily and Matthew Fredrickson, Allison, William and Sarah Boisvert, and Meghan and Brad Galvin. Laureen's death was preceded by her brother, John Sullivan.

Laureen lived her life raising her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid Celtics fan and enjoyed many long walks on Duxbury beach. She was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Marshfield.
