Lee A. Cannon of Kingston died peacefully on November 21, 2023. He was the husband of Ann Marie Cannon; father of the late Lee Cannon, Jr. Scott Cannon, he is survived by his children, Justine and Dale Cookson, Lee and Carrie Cannon III, Stacey and David Francis, Jill Cannon, Gerald and Christine Motte, Lisa and Scott Ainslie, He also leaves his grandchildren Jason and Vicky Lincoln, Nicole Sittig and Mark Walls, Kelly Sittig, Christopher and Victoria Cannon, Jonathan Cannon, Matthew Cannon, Kirstyn Francis, Ashlyn Francis, Tyler and Kate Francis, Brandon Francis, Amanda Cannon, Hannah Fernald, Kimberly Gosselin, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Born in Brockton to the late Arthur and Phyllis (Campy) Cannon, Lee was the dear brother of Gail Cannon of Duxbury, Arthur Cannon Jr. and his wife Gayle of Michigan, the late Ethel and William Napier and the late Glen and Wendy Cannon.
Lee worked for the Town of Marshfield as head of the Tree and Ballfield Department and retired as the Superintendent of the Cemetery Department. He was a proud Navy Veteran and passionate motorhead! He enjoyed working on his truck and showing his truck at the car shows. He was a member of the Connecting Rods Car Club and the Disciples Motorcycle Club. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved camping in Bourne Scenic Park. He cherished his yard, especially his rose garden. He will be missed by all.
Services for Lee will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Visiting hours will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and will conclude with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
