With great sadness we announce that Libby Carr passed away peacefully in Ft. Myers Florida on December 27, 2022 from the autoimmune disease Scleroderma. For 17 months while suffering with this debilitating condition, Libby maintained a positive attitude prior to her passing.

During her life working and living in Canton and on Duxbury Beach she was a true friend to those in need of a smile and a laugh. Her innovation, creativity and inspiration caused her to be sought out by parents to educate their children. Having her children Cody and Kasey later in life, she then devoted her time to visiting oceanside resorts, amusement parks and sitting at the beach in a bathing suit and flip flops.

Libby is preceded in death by her loving son Cody Carr and her parents Walter and Suzie Leonardi. She will be missed by her husband Kevin Carr and daughter Kasey Carr; siblings Maureen Taylor of Duxbury and Jim and Sandy Carr of Kingston; and cousins Marie Hall Fisk of Lajola, CA and Mary Ann Farrell of Northwood, NH.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Holy Family church on Friday June 23rd at 10:00 AM followed by a burial. In lieu of flowers please send a card or visit someone who is sick while thinking of Libby.
