Robinson, Linda C. (Fisher), of Duxbury, passed away on July 7, 2016 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of David W. Robinson and loving mother of Kelly Beckett and her husband Jason of Milton, Kristen Souza and her husband Derek of North Attleboro, Janet Robinson of Florida, Jill Robinson of Hingham, and Dr. David W. Robinson Jr. and his wife Ellen of Charleston, South Carolina. Devoted daughter of John K. Fisher of New Hampshire and the late Barbara (Barnes) Fisher; "Nannie" to grandchildren James and KJ Beckett, Kendall, Rylie, and Chase Souza, Luke and Jack Robinson. Dear sister of Janet and John Fitzgerald of Harwich, Marge and Lari Bell of New Hampshire, and John Jr. and Diane Fisher of New Hampshire, Linda leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Linda grew up in Holbrook, MA and graduated from Holbrook High School. She completed further education at Bridgewater State University and Berkeley College of Music in Boston. She resided in Canton and most recently Duxbury, MA, with very fond memories of youthful summers spent on Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire.

Linda had a lifetime passion for the arts. She sang, she danced, she played piano and she taught many, young and old, to do the same. During her free time she enjoyed golfing, gardening, skiing, vacationing on Cape Cod and most of all spending time with her family.

Linda had a vibrant personality with a zest for life and was always active in her church and community. She was a proud member of the Pilgrim Church, a 20+ year participant on the Duxbury parade committee, director of the Pilgrim Church bell choir and member of the Unitarian Church bell choir.

Her love of family and deep faith defined her life and helped sustain her through her illness. Thank you Linda, Mom, Nannie, for living your life graciously, tenaciously and faithfully in Christ.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Linda will be laid to rest in Mayflower Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Pilgrim Church of Duxbury, 404 Washington Street, Duxbury, followed by a Reception.
