Linda (Weeks) Surette passed away on September 3, 2021, surrounded by the love of her family and friends, after a short battle with cancer which she handled with dignity and grace.

Born in Boston to the late Robert and Ruby Weeks, she moved to the Brant Rock section of Marshfield in 1953 and graduated from Marshfield High School in 1961. She was married in 1963 to her beloved husband Harold Surette from South Weymouth, who predeceased her in 2004. She leaves behind her partner of 15 years, Richard Beale; her son Robert Surette and his fiance Ginger Wood of Marshfield and 3 stepsons Jonathan Davis, Benjamin and Nicholas Wood; son James Surette and daughter Christine Surette; and her cherished granddaughter and grandson Jordan and Cameron of Plymouth. Predeceased by her sister, Roberta Weeks Innes, she leaves behind a niece, Julie Innes Carucio, her husband Francis Carucio, and their children Evailina and Franchesco of Charlottesville, VA. She also leaves her loving cousin Nancy Litchfield Ryan of Bedford, NH and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was an devoted member and volunteer bell ringer of the Duxbury Baptist Church. She will be missed dearly by her long-time friends Joe and Darlene Casino and her friend Robin Dunn at Tea Rock Gardens in Marshfield, who took such loving care of her in her final days.

Linda was known for her sweet smile and her loving and giving soul, and her willingness to always help a person in need. May she rest in eternal peace.
