Obituary

Chandler, Lois I. (Hubbard) 89 of Marshfield November 11,. Wife of the late Russell W. Chandler. Dear mother of Carleton E. Chandler and his wife Barbara of Marshfield and Robert L. Chandler and his wife Margie of Topsfield, ME. Loving grandmother of Amy, Julie, Jocelyn, Bobby and Bart. Great grandmother of 8. Sister of Frederick Hubbard of Marshfield, the late Barbara Hubbard, Helen Simmons and John Hubbard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lois was born in Duxbury, and was raised in Marshfield. She was a graduate of Marshfield High School class of 1939. Lois joined the United States Navy in the Waves during WWII as a Yeoman Second Class. Her greatest pride was being a homemaker. Lois was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, Rexhame Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, a member of the First Congregational Church. She served as a Deaconess and President of the Ladies Benevolent Society. Visiting hours will be on Monday November 14, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St Rte 139 Marshfield. Funeral from the First Congregational Church 1981 Ocean St Marshfield on Tuesday at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery Marshfield. Contributions in Lois' memory may be made to the First Congregational Church PO Box 828 Marshfield, MA. 02050 or to the Charity of your choice.
