Lois "Lo" Ostert of Middleboro, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 31, 2019 at the age of 82.

Lo was born on June 30, 1936 in Quincy, daughter of late the late Gerald and Frances Gherardi. She was a graduate of North Quincy high school who loved crafts, crocheting for her granddaughters, watching games shows and doing crossword puzzles. Lo was a great cook who was always willing to share her recipes with anyone who asked. She loved eating fish & chips, scallops, gnocchis but her favorite food was lobster.

Loving mother of Richard Gherardi and his wife Kristine of Middleboro, Karen O'Connell and her husband Keith of Plymouth and Amy Masterson and her husband David of Iowa.

Cherished grandmother of Abby, Patrick, Olivia, Hillary, David and Eric.

Survived by her brother Jerry and wife Cathy, Edward and his wife Barbara and her sister Janice. Also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and their children.
