Lorraine M. (Anderson) Barnicoat, of Hanover, passed away on December 10, 2018 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Charles F. Barnicoat, V; loving mother of Charles F. Barnicoat, VI, and his wife Eileen of Naples, Florida, Jeffrey C. Barnicoat of Marshfield, and the late Darron Barnicoat; cherished grandmother of Charles, Stephen, and Robbie. Lorraine was the dear sister of Everett Anderson Jr. and his wife Alita of Braintree, Robert Anderson and his wife Maria of Needham, Mildred "Milly" Mulvaney and her late husband Thomas of Weymouth, Doreen Blake and her husband Robert of Hanover. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was born and raised in Quincy, where she graduated from Quincy High School and received an Associate's Degree from Quincy Junior College. She worked as a Paralegal in Quincy before becoming a Real Estate Agent for Jack Conway Realtors in Hanover. Lorraine was a 49-year resident of Hanover, where she and Charlie raised their family and she lovingly tended to her gardens.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street (Rte. 139) in Hanover. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery, Union Street, Marshfield.
