Contrino, Louis (Louie), of Marshfield, passed away on March 31, 2016 at the age of 78.
Born in Italy, Louie moved to the United States when he was 15 years old with his parents the late Serafino Contrino and Maria (Farrugia) Contrino of Medford.

Louie was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a Technician at BLH Electronics for over 40 years until his retirement 10 years ago. Since his retirement he was an avid fisherman and was out fishing every chance he could. Louie was always looking out for others, and was loved by all who knew him.

Louie was the beloved husband of Marcia (Langill) Contrino and the dear father of Debora Sweet and her husband Frank of Sudbury, Lisa Contrino of Norwood, Terri Costello of Uxbridge, and Tammy Kay of New Hampshire. Louie also leaves his 5 grandchildren Eric, Kyle, Holly, Samantha, and Rebecca, a brother Gary Contrino of Medford, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139) Marshfield. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. following the visiting hours.
