Louis Charles Leone, 79, husband of Patricia A. (Maglio) Leone, died peacefully on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. In addition to his wife, he leaves his son Mark. C. Leone and his wife Kristin, and grandchildren Chase and Mason. He is predeceased by his sisters, Carol Flanagan and Pat Leone.

Louis was born on March 21st, 1945, in Queens, NY. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1967, where he earned his bachelor's degree in engineering. Chemical engineering was his passion as he went on to become a director at Shipley Inc. for 14 years before branching off in 1999, and starting his own company, Advanced Technology Solutions.

Though chemical engineering was Lou's true passion, his family was always his priority. Lou married the love of his life, Pat, in 1978 and after careful consideration, settled in Westwood, MA where they raised their family. Lou was a very active volunteer in the community, specifically when it came to his son, Mark. From coaching his sports teams to teaching him life lessons, he was determined to mold him into the very best version of himself. Lou was also an avid golfer and enjoyed nothing more than a round of golf with his family and friends. Lou and family purchased a house in Grantham, NH where the family spent summers golfing and going to the beach.

In 2007, Lou was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease. Over the past 19 years, Lou overcame many obstacles and truly defined perseverance with his resilient and courageous efforts to conquer anything that got in his way. In his latest years, as his disease worsened, he was able to welcome two grandchildren (Chase, 3 and Mason, 1) into his family. His priority quickly shifted to spending as much quality time with them, and again made a major impact on their young lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street in Scituate, with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Scituate.
