Lynne A. Civitarese, 54, of Pembroke, MA passed away on March 21, 2021 after a valiant battle with breast cancer. Lynne was the beloved mother of Lindsay Miranda and her fiancé Sergio Fernandes of Pembroke and loving girlfriend of John Cummings of Newton. She was born to Louis and Barbra (Trabucco) Civitarese on September 10, 1966. Lynne is survived by her siblings Jean-Marie Murphy of South Carolina, Karen Civitarese and Kathy Dunnington of Marshfield as well as Christine, Stephen and his wife, Tara Civitarese of Cape Cod. She is also predeceased by her brother Michael Civitarese.

Lynne was a light in countless people lives with her contagious smile and nurturing nature. She was not only the most incredible mother and sister, but she was the best aunty Lynne and Yaya to her nieces and nephews whom she loved as if they were her own.

Lynne had the uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She would never say no to lending a hand or helping people in anyway she could. Because of her loving nature she was always the shoulder to cry on or the ear to listen for both family and friends. Her personality and sense of humor would infect those around her causing her to spread joy wherever she was. Lynne's selflessness, kindness, intelligence, and creativity are unmatched and will continue to live on through her memory forever light up the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
