Marc A. Marchant of Marshfield passed away on September 16, 2020, after a long illness, at the age of 42. He was born in Quincy and raised in Marshfield. Marc is survived by his maternal grandmother (Nana) Norma M. Zeoli of Weymouth, his mother Sandy J. De Castro and stepfather Stephen G. De Castro of Marshfield and brother Seth F. De Castro of Marshfield. He leaves a son, Cameron A. Marchant of Mansfield, his niece Natalia M. Marchant and nephew James A. O'Sullivan, both of Dennis. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Marc was a talented and knowledgeable house painter on the South Shore. He worked for several painting contractors over the years as well as having his own painting contracting business, Marc Marchant Painting. His handiwork surrounds us. He enjoyed baseball and playing it with his Nana when he was a child. Marc loved to spend time with his son, Cameron, who he missed dearly. He was an avid fisherman for both fresh and saltwater who would take his younger brother Seth fishing. Marc always enjoyed playing with Natalia and James when they were all together. Marc was a man who had a kind heart and was always willing to help. He loved to spend time with his son and his niece and nephew. He is loved and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Rest in peace in the arms of our Lord.
