Margaret T. Dwyer Quinn of Ocean Bluffs, MA and Naples, FL died peacefully in the care of loving daughter Anne Lefebvre on November 11. She was the beloved wife of 18 years of John F. Quinn and 36 years of the late Laurence J. Dwyer. She was born on October 26, 1925 in Holbrook, MA and is the daughter of the late John R. McGaughey and Mary E. Carrigg McGaughey. She was the devoted mother of Kathy Dwyer and her husband Edward Sparks, Laurence Dwyer, Michael Dwyer and his wife Nea, Margaret Motyl and Anne Lefebvre and her husband Keith. She is the loving grandmother to Brad Dwyer, Jenn McEwen, Lauren Cochell, Robin Dwyer and Tim, Marc and Sarah Lefebvre and great great grandmother to Carter and Ella Cochell. She leaves behind her beloved sister Katherine Root Parolin. She is predeceased by her sister Anne Harte, brother John R. McGaughey and son in law Gary Motyl. Margaret was valedictorian of the class of 1947 at St. Margaret's Nursing School in Dorchester currently Laboure College. She was Passionate about nursing, especially to the elderly and was instrumental along with the Rev. George Drury SJ in starting the nursing center facility for Jesuit priests at Weston College in Weston called the Campion Center. She was known to all the priests for her wry sense of humor and brilliant blue eyes and loved inviting them to her summer house in Ocean Bluff for lobster bakes. Prior to that she was Director of Nursing at Rivercrest Nursing Home in Concord, MA. After her first husband's death she took over a portion of his business and was the accountant for numerous parishes in the Archdioceses of Boston. Many a priest would ask her if she was a nurse or an accountant to which she would reply "BOTH". A 36 year resident of Concord, MA. She loved raising her children in that wonderful historic town. After her children were grown she split her time between Marshfield, MA and Naples, FL. She enjoyed her retirement by playing golf and traveling. Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Saturday, November 15 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Ann by the Sea Church, 591 Ocean St. at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund, P.O.
