Margaret "Beth" Elizabeth Nicholson of Marshfield passed away at home of natural causes on January 6, 2018, at the age of 49.  Beth was born in Weymouth and grew up in Marshfield. She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1986, and later obtained her Associate's Degree as a CNA. Beth had a zest for Life, Love, and Laughter: her brilliant smile and warm personality always accompanied her wherever she went.

Beth was always quick with a hug and with kind, consoling words for those who needed it.  She loved her hometown of "Marsh Vegas" and was blessed with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout the area.  Beth worked for years in the salon and beauty business, was always impeccably put together, and admired for her "classic and classy look" and down-to-earth personality.

Beth leaves her two children, Jacqueline Jaymes Roderick and Margaret Anne Roderick, her brother, Earl Nicholson of Rockland, her late mother, Jacqueline E. (Nolan) Nicholson of Humarock, and her father, Albert Nicholson of Marshfield. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield.
