Margaret (Margie) Diane Reilly, entered into her Eternal Rest with Our Lord on February 16, surrounded by her family. Margie was known for her incredible humor, kindness and generosity. Margie was a devoted sister, friend, cousin and aunt who will be greatly missed.

Margie is predeceased by her beloved parents, her father, James F. Reilly, 2008, and her mother Patricia Hoey Reilly, 2016 and brother in-law, John L Sullivan, 2006. She is survived by her siblings, Marybeth Singer and Hank of Myrtle Beach, SC, Patti Casey and Kevin of Marshfield, MA, Jim Reilly and Joanne of St. Mary's, KS, Geri Sullivan of Plymouth, MA, Katie Healey and John of Canton, MA, Ann Marie Mudano and Joe of Tequesta, FL and Eileen Reilly of Halifax, MA.

She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Peter, Matthew, Siobhan, Brendan, Patrick, Cory, Grace, Katie, Meaghan, Colleen, Seamus, Sarah, Justine, Virginia, Max, Noah, Joe, Jimmy, Jack and Hayley and twenty-two grand nieces and nephews.

Margie, along with her siblings, grew up in beautiful Green Harbor in Marshfield in a large Irish Catholic family. Margie graduated from Marshfield High School in 1979. Margie spent her sophomore year at Trinity College in Dublin, and got to know the Hoey side of the family very well with her trips to Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, where her mother was born and raised.

Margie earned two bachelors degrees in Massachusetts and then completed her Master's degree and doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Texas, Houston. She worked in several roles at large medical centers in Orlando, FL, Houston, TX and Boston, MA until her retirement in 2016.

Her family wishes to acknowledge the extraordinary care of her surgeons, Miriam O'Leary, MD and Jeremiah Tracy, MD and Joan Kross, primary care of Tufts Medical Center and especially, Tamara Vesel, MD of Palliative Care. Your kindness and knowledge were mentioned frequently by Margie and she admired each of you for your devotion to your patients.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery, Union Street in Marshfield.
