Silvestre, Margaret "Lorraine" (Shea), of Marshfield, passed away on December 28, 2015 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Francis Silvestre. Dear Mother of Nancy Johansen and her husband Timothy of Dracut, Francis Silvestre and his wife Amy of Marshfield, Karen Campbell and her husband Bill of Westwood. Loving grandmother of Emmaline, Ethan, Isabel, Will, Kailyn, and Ella. Lorraine leaves a brother, Robert Shea and his wife Elaine of Hanover, a sister-in-law Janet Shea of Norwood and many beloved nieces and nephews, She was predeceased by her sisters Kathryn, Dorothy, Marie, Gladys, and a brother, Charles.

Born in Boston to the late Charles and Margaret (Kelly) Shea, Lorraine grew up in Mission Hill, lived in Cambridge, and enjoyed summers in Marshfield. She loved to travel with her sisters, especially to Ireland and loved spending time with her family.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte 139), Marshfield. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica and Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church), 1545 Tremont Street, Boston. Interment will be in Cambridge Cemetery.
