Anne and Dave were well known around town as the long time owners of the Marshfield Drive-In Cleaners (now "Anton's"). Anne belonged to the United Methodist and North Community Churches and served as Financial Officer, Sunday school teacher, choir member, evangelism chairperson, visitation team, and meal coordinator over the years. She was Past President of the Marshfield VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Always a caregiver, Anne volunteered in her retirement years as a Hospice Volunteer and Medical Assistant.
In her early years Anne enjoyed travel, visits, calls, card night, Red Sox games with family, and her Tuesday date with grandson Michael was among her favorites. Anne moved to Proprietor's Green in 2011, where she became a friend and welcome ambassador to old and new residents, participated in Bible Study, quilting, creative writing, movie critics club, knitting group, marketing promotions, the annual Holiday Boutique, Bananagrams, and puzzle making.
Anne's greatest joy in life was her family and friends, sharing time together and making memories with them. She will always be remembered for her spirited, encouraging, energetic ways and the legacy of love she has left to all who knew her. Sweet Peace, Anne.
