Marie Simoneau of Marshfield passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 76. She was the beloved daughter of the late Paul Simoneau and the late Edith (Thomas) Simoneau and dear sister to two brothers, Paul Simoneau and the late James Simoneau.

Marie was born in Worcester and lived a short time in Connecticut before making Marshfield her home. She worked for the State of Massachusetts Department of Disability. She met her good friend Lethea in the 1970's and they enjoyed aerobics and exercise. Marie was like an aunt to Lethea's children, Michelle Harris and Dave Ware, taking them fishing and spending time in their family home watching movies. Marie also enjoyed exploring ancestry and genealogy, often researching the lines of family and friends.

Marie was kind and loving and found joy in her daily life. She joined the First Baptist Church of Hanover where she developed strong bonds and purpose by giving of her time volunteering and serving on the Spiritual Life Commission. She was a devout Christian and a loving sister and friend.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and will conclude with a service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Greg. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery of Marshfield.
