Obituary
Marjorie Jean Frye passed away November 9, 2019, at the age of 88, after a long battle with Alzheimers. She most recently resided at Harbor House in Hingham and her family wishes to extend their gratitude to Harbor House for their wonderful care for the last 13 years.
"Margie" was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Catherine Frye of North Quincy and her brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Margery Frye of Marshfield. She leaves nephews, Richard and Robert Frye and her niece, Nancy Frye. She also leaves her great niece and nephew, Alison and Jonathan Frye.
Margie was a 75 year resident of North Quincy. She graduated from North Quincy High, the University of New Hampshire and earned her Masters degree from Boston University. She was an employee of the State of Massachusetts for many years. Margie was a smart, kind hearted, warm person who worked with the blind, loved animals, and was ready to help anyone at any time in any way. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will be arranged at the Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree on December 2, 2019 at 11:00 am. Donations in memory of Margie may be made to the Alzheimers Association, online at
