Mark E. Hayes of Norwell passed away on November 21, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Elaine V. (Casey), formerly of Milton, and his siblings Joanne Medoff and her husband Bruce of Newton, Drew Hayes of Winchester, and Donald Hayes of Plymouth. Mark also leaves many nieces and nephews, as well as his faithful canine companion, Pioneer.

Son of the late Donald J. and Elizabeth A. (Holland) Hayes, Mark was raised in Marshfield and graduated from Marshfield High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Bridgewater State University, where he also played football, and later worked as a Compliance Manager for Mellon Bank.

Mark was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, and most enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Friends and family are all welcome to attend.
