Mark E. Hurley of Marshfield passed away at home on July 14, 2019 at the age of 64 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. Mark was the beloved husband of Pat (Kuran) Hurley. He leaves his siblings Matthew Hurley and his wife Mildred of Grosse Pointe, Michigan and Elizabeth Hurley of Newburyport, and a nephew, Arthur Hurley of Newburyport.

Born and raised in the Detroit area, Mark and Pat moved to Massachusetts in the early 1980's. Mark was a natural salesman and his career as a sales executive in the Hi Tech industry provided him the opportunity to travel and interact with people around the world, making many new friends along the way. An avid outdoorsman and lover of nature, Mark in particular enjoyed fly fishing, skeet shooting, skiing, white water rafting and birdwatching. One of his favorite trips was to Churchill, Manitoba to experience the polar bears migrating back to Hudson's Bay. He was a world-class story teller who would have people roaring with laughter as he related situations he had encountered throughout his personal life and business career. He will be remembered as a kind and sympathetic man, always reaching out to support others in times of need and difficulty. He had an infectious smile and a wicked wit that could put anyone at ease.
