It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Matthew Maddy, age 68 of Pigeon, MI, formerly of Champlain, NY and Pembroke, MA.

Mark was born in Quincy to the late Donald F. and Joan Pauline Maddy. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged having reached the rank of Staff Sgt.

Mark never met a stranger and had an amazing sense of someone in need and would always offer what he could to help them, be it a ride, a coat, boots or even a place to stay. He continued to give until the very end when his last act was to become an organ donor.

Left to cherish Marks memory are his partner of 21 years, Cheryl Nadrowski, his brothers and sisters Dawn Frazer, Diane Briggs, Kurt Maddy, Scott Maddy, Craig Maddy, and Keith Maddy; his children Charlotte Bodell, Mark Maddy, Robert Maddy, Sindy Phillips, Jeremiah Maddy and stepdaughter Allison Doucet.

Mark is also survived by 5 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and countless friends.

A memorial service will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The family respectfully requests no flowers be sent. Mark would have liked trees planted or for donations to be made to the charity of your choice.
