Marsilia "Marcy" A. (Ubertini) Hoban of Marshfield passed away peacefully on June 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Warren "Wuzzy" Hoban (BPD), she was the dear mother of Michael and his wife Deborah of Marshfield, Brian and his wife Lisa of Plymouth, daughter in-law Karen Hoban, and the late James Hoban of Plymouth, Daughter of the late Peter and Alice (Panzieri) Ubertini. Marcy also leaves her sister Beatrice LaMachia and brother Vincent Ubertini, predeceased by Amelia Civitarese, Francis Fifield and Annmarie McMurtry. She was the cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

After raising her three sons, Marcy worked part time as a sales associate for Anderson Little and the Christmas Tree Shop. She also loved to crochet Afghans for each grandchild, enjoyed seeing all the kids at family gatherings and spending time with friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Christine Parish Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield. Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
