Martha "Marty" Louise  (Houghton) Horton of Marshfield, MA born September 24 1949, daughter of late Lawrence "Ed" and Lurline (Spiers) Houghton,  passed away peacefully at South Shore Hospital Tuesday afternoon July 31, 2018 surrounded by family and friends. Beloved by her sons Michael E. Horton of Hanson, Christopher B. Horton of Marshfield, step son Mark C. Horton of Windham, NH, and grandchildren Julia, Max, Zackery, Mikayla, Sam and Sally, and many friends. A one of a kind woman, from playing cribbage Sunday morning with her mother to making her famous deviled eggs.  To the Fleming family, she thought of you as family.  She will be missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield. Burial will be private.
