Mary Elizabeth Brazao (Connolly),65, of Marshfield, Mass., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 15, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Richie Brazao, (deceased), and loving mother to Josh Brazao of Marshfield, and Jason Brazao of Washington, D.C.

Mary leaves her brothers Bill Connolly, Jr. and his wife Barbara, Mike Connolly and his wife Claire, Dennis Connolly and his wife Sumi, and Mark Connolly and his wife Nancy. She leaves her best friend and sister in law, Jackie Brazao and her husband Phil of Marshfield, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, Callie and Coen, the children of Josh Brazao and Amanda Smith.

Born in 1952 in Dorchester, Mass., Mary started school at St. Gregory's, then graduated from Fontbonne Academy. Later, she attended classes at Massasoit, and Bridgewater State College. She did the bookkeeping for the Brazao plumbing business, and worked as a teacher's aide for many years in the Marshfield Public School System.

Anyone who knew Mary was aware of her love of animals, especially dogs. She always had at least one who adored her. Mary had a koi pond, and spectacular flowers and plants inside and out, all year round. Her home was always welcoming, and her door open to neighbors, friends, and family. She will be sadly missed.

Visiting hours on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:15 p.m. will conclude with a Funeral Service at 4:15 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield.
