Forti, Mary Loiuse (Calderwood), 88, of Marshfield, formerly of Randolph, died peacefully at home on December 11, 2015, with her devoted husband of 67 years, Robert P. Forti, and her son Jeffrey at her side and her daughter Susan Forti and her husband Bob Houlihan of Roslindale, MA close by. Born in Rockland Maine, Mary was the daughter of the late Rita (Packard) Hooper, the stepdaughter of the late Calvin Hooper, and the sister of the late Franklin Calderwood who all resided in Maine before moving to Boston. In addition to her husband and children, Mary is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs School and worked as a medical secretary and a bookkeeper, but devoted most of her life to her family. She did find time for many activities including painting and crafts. Mary was a member of the Marshfield Garden Club, YWCA and the "Sew Whats" sewing club, and was a long-term treasurer of the North River Art Society.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Route 139 in Marshfield. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
