Mary Ann (Frechette) Ginelli, a longtime resident of Marshfield, passed away on April 15, 2021, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Robert W. Ginelli; loving mother of Ellen Nee of Plymouth, Barbara Mellon and her husband Paul of Marshfield, and the late Robert W. Ginelli, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Katrina Holt, Brittany Miller, Michelle and Stephanie Nee, James, Christopher, and Kerri Mellon, and great-grandchildren Adelyn, Alivia, Madison, and Nathan. Daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie Frechette, Mary Ann leaves her siblings William Frechette, Claire Laurinaitis and her husband Anthony, Ellen Smith, Christine Stafford and her husband Gerald, John Frechette and his wife Ann Marie, James Frechette and his wife Monica, Joseph Frechette and his wife Donna, Eugene Frechette and his wife Kathleen, and Francis Frechette and his wife Arlene; she is predeceased by brothers Ralph and Paul Frechette.

Mary Ann loved quilting and was a member of Sachem Quilters Club; she will be missed by all the ladies in the club, especially her dear friend, Ann Melia. She also enjoyed baking, knitting, and needlepoint but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary Ann and Bob celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary this past Monday, April 12. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at St. Ann by the Sea Parish Church, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Old Colony Hospice and Palliative Care, 321 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
