Mary L. (Hinchey) Gorman of Plymouth passed away on February 18, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Charles F. Gorman, she was the dear mother of Susan M. Gorman and husband Brian McGee of Marshfield, Maryellen Fordham and husband Jeffrey of Newport News, VA, and Charles F. Gorman, Jr., and wife Dawn of Plymouth. Daughter of the late Phillip and Mary (Bouzan) Hinchey, Mary is predeceased by her siblings Christine Bain, Thomas and William Hinchey, and Madeline Grace. She was the cherished grandmother of Eric Fordham, Ryan Fordham and wife Megan, Jennifer McGee and the late Margaret McGee, Sydney Gorman, Kevin Gorman, and great-grandmother of Alora Fordham.

Mary lived in Marshfield in the Holly Hill area for over 50 years before moving to Plymouth. Marshfield was where she raised her three children. She loved going to Humarock beach with her kids and loved the time they spent in Maine and Naples, Florida.

Mary was a Registered Nurse and worked at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and hearing about their adventures. She recently became a great grandmother, which she was so proud of. Mary had a witty sense of humor and loved caring for people. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 will begin with visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield, followed by a funeral procession to St. Christine's Parish Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery.
