Mary McLaughlin, born in Dorchester on January 20, 1959 to Edward and Margret Kielty, passed away at her home in Portsmouth Rhode Island (formerly of Humarock MA) on August 4, 2022 at the age of 63, after battling Pancreatic Cancer. She leaves behind her husband Paul McLaughlin after 41 years of marriage; daughters Katie Buckell and husband John and grandchild Hailey (7) of Portsmouth RI, and Stephanie McLaughlin and wife Lisa and grandchild Parker (11mo.) of Jupiter FL; brothers Robert Kielty and wife Michelina of Newton, Edward Kielty and wife Julie of Marshfield, and Mark Kielty of Vermont. She also leaves her aunt Joan Manrique of Humarock and countless nieces and nephews.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt to many; and was sister, niece and a dear friend to many more. Mary loved boating, beach-going, working on her house and vacationing in the Caribbean. She worked creating marine canvases up and down the south shore but spent most of her time raising her children and, the last few years, her grandchildren.
