Mary C. (Dunn) Nadeau age 92, died Saturday, October 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Edward J. Nadeau with whom she celebrated 56 years of wedded bliss!  She was born in Dorchester on March 14, 1930.  Mary lived most of her married life in Roslindale before moving to South Yarmouth and then Nashua after Ed's passing.  She recently resided in Marshfield.  She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them especially for a good meal and a Manhattan.

Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, playing cards and Mexican Train as well as sitting at the seawall while enjoying a cup of coffee or her favorite soup-Panera Broccoli Cheddar.

Mary will be forever missed by her children, Edward J. Nadeau, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Roslindale, Debra M. Conlon and her husband Robert of Marshfield, Laura E. Manning of Nashua, NH and David P. Nadeau and his wife Beth of Centerville.  She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandsons, and many nieces and nephews as well as her sister-in-law Phyllis Dunn.

She was the sister of the late Elizabeth D. Dunn, Margaret C. Blossom, Joseph B. Dunn, Gregory M. Dunn, William F. Dunn and Theresa M. O'Loughlin.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 18. 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield. Mary will then be laid to rest next to Edward in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
