Mary K. Steele of Marshfield, formerly of Lake Placid, Florida and Rochester, New York passed away on October 5, 2020 after 97 well lived years. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, William Steele and brother John Auman. Survived by children Richard (Michele) Steele and Cheryl (Alex) Perez; grandchildren Chelsea, Gabriella and Adam; brother-in-law Raymond Steele.

Mary was a proud graduate of the University of Rochester School of Nursing, Class of 1944. The majority of her career was devoted to geriatric nursing where she was known for exemplary skill and care. Retirement brought many adventures as she traveled the country with her husband Bill in their RV. Mary's quilting skills will long be remembered by the many recipients of her beautiful work.

A celebration of Mary's life will be held at a later date. Remembrances may be made to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or by an act of kindness to someone in need during these challenging times.
