Maude (Means Foley) Gallinelli 95 of Stuart, FL, and Humarock MA passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Gallinelli Jr. and Joseph D. Foley. Loving Mother of Joanne Foley of Stuart FL and Denise Foley Lynch of Hanson/Humarock MA; beloved grandmother of Megan O'Keefe of Cave Creek AZ, Briana McClean of Sanford FL, Brittney Lynch of Franklin MA, Brandon Lynch of Humarock MA, and Bradley Lynch of Hanson MA. Beloved great-grandmother to Khloe O'Keefe of Cave Creek AZ.

Maude was the sister of the late Fred Means, Doris Leith, Barbara McAvoy, and Phyllis Corridan and daughter of Roy and Caroline Means.

Maude was born in Braintree and grew up in North Quincy. She graduated from North Quincy High School in 1944. Maude raised her daughters in Marshfield for many years. She worked for New England Telephone as an operator in Kingston and retired in 1982.

Maude resided at Cedar Pointe Village 1-5 in Stuart Florida in the winter until she became a full-time resident five years ago. She met her lifelong friends there and found a community that she embraced. She described traveling back and forth to Florida as living the best of both worlds!

A golf enthusiast, Maude was an avid golfer for many years as well as marshaling many tournaments. She was a member of Sailfish Sands Golf Course.

Maude organized and ran her class reunions, was very involved at Cedar Pointe Village 1-5, enjoyed entertaining, loved spending time with family and friends, car rides, crafting, knitting, playing cards, and loved her home in Humarock.

Maude's legacy is her never-ending love of her family. Beloved by all that knew her. Maude was known for her beauty and contagious smile, her unconditional love, kindness, generosity, wonderful sense of humor, and gentle way of being. She will be sadly missed and will live on in our hearts forever.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, with a Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Marshfield, MA concluding with burial at Winslow Cemetery in Marshfield.
