Obituary

Maureen Phyllis Foy Blackman of Marshfield, passed away on July 28, 2016 at the age of 69 after a long period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Dana Bradford Blackman.

Born in Quincy, she was predeceased by her parents, Charles Raymond Foy and Marion Phyllis Chamberlain Foy, her husband, and brother-in-law, Albert C. Call, Jr.

After graduating from Quincy High School in 1965, Maureen worked at Pneumatic Scale Corporation where she met her husband. She balanced raising four children with working at Sylvia's Sea Flower Restaurant and managing Blackman's Point RV & Camping in Brant Rock; for more than forty years Maureen took great pride in her execution of the responsibilities of this position.

Maureen is survived by her children: Kimberley Phyllis Blackman, Charles Bradford Blackman, Dana Lewis Blackman, his wife Rebecca and their son, John, and Jeffrey Robert Blackman, his wife Tara and their daughter, Avery. Maureen also leaves her brother, C. Robert Foy and his wife, Frances; her sister-in-law, Nancy B. Call; her brother-in-law, Roger B. Blackman and his wife, Joan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral arrangements are private.
