Maureen D. White of Marshfield passed away on September 27, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Theodore and Una (O’Hara) White, Maureen was the loving sister of Regina Giambusso of Forestdale, Theodore White and his wife Cathy of Hingham, Gregory White and his wife Susan of W. Harwich, and the late Christopher White and John White. She was the dear aunt of David Giambusso, Theodore White, Sarah White, William White, and several grand nieces and nephews. Maureen also leaves her lifelong friends Sara Gavoni and the Brazao Family.
Maureen was a lifelong communicant and volunteer at St. Ann by the Sea Parish in Brant Rock where she forged many close friendships.
She had completed her education by attending the Marshfield High extension of Northeastern University, eventually earning her Bachelor of Science degree.
Moe’s profession was banking. She worked as a teller and eventually a head teller at both Rockland Credit Union and Bank of America. She delighted in interacting with and entertaining her customers whom she gifted with her own created crafts at Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Crafting was Moe’s passion. She worked diligently on her many projects and always looked forward to sharing them as gifts with her friends, family and customers.
Her greatest love, however, from early in her life, was her love of children. Although she began babysitting for money, spending time with young people was always more than a job. She loved them as her own, and never hesitated to share her enthusiasm for being with them. Many children were blessed with Moe’s love, including her own nieces and nephews.
