Maurine P. Rinaldi, of Marshfield, passed away on January 14, 2019 at the age of 65. Beloved wife of John H. "Jack" Kane; loving mother of Benjamin Powell and his wife Joanna; cherished sister of Christine Gaffney and her husband John of Marshfield, Vincent Rinaldi and his wife Dotty of Weymouth, Jennifer Manganella and her husband Peter of Allston, and the late Geraldine and Daniel Rinaldi. Maurine leaves her grandchildren Mia, Anna, and Jane Powell, nieces Danielle and Olivia, and nephews John and his wife Maureen and Peter. Maurine was loving great-aunt to Paige, Regan, and Audrey Gaffney "surrogate grandmother" to Liv and P.D., and dearly loved her dogs, Dozer, Buddy, and Blake. She was an avid New England Patriots fan, "I love you, man!"

Maurine was raised in Allston and attended St. Mary's in Brookline. Despite her lifelong battle with scoliosis, Maurine was always positive, always smiling, and never let her illness get the better of her. She was member of both the St. Anthony's (Blue Diamonds) Drill Team and the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps. Maurine will be sorely missed by many dear friends. She was much loved and respected by her coworkers at Harbor Medical in Weymouth, where she worked for years as Practice Coordinator.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Funeral procession from the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 for a Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street, Marshfield. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
