It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Melissa Ann Ludlow, 47, on December 15, 2024.

Melissa was a loving mother to her four remarkable children: Ayla, Nicholas, Norah, and Maddex Ludlow, who were the light of her life. Her love for them was boundless, and their bond was unshakable. She is also survived by her loving mother, Priscilla Simmons of Ocala, Florida and brother Fred Hatcher of Washington, NH.

Known for her quick wit and unfiltered sense of humor, Melissa had an unparalleled ability to brighten any room she entered. She brought joy, laughter, and warmth to those who knew her.

While life presented Melissa with challenges, her enduring love for her children remained a constant source of strength. She faced her struggles with courage and grace, leaving a lasting impact on everyone around her.

Melissa's memory will forever be cherished by her children, their father, Curt Ludlow, and all those whose lives she touched.

A wake will be held on Sunday, December 22, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A funeral service will take place on Monday, December 23, at 10:00 AM at the same location. Following the service, Melissa will be laid to rest in the Pembroke Center Cemetery, Center Street in Pembroke,
