Michael H. Brown of Pembroke, Marshfield, and Wellesley, MA, passed away on January 14, 2018 at the age of 60. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Kristina (Drag) Brown, their three sons: Craig D. Brown of Brockton, MA, Sgt. Steven M. Brown and his wife Dani of Raeford, NC, and Matthew Brown of Brockton, MA, as well as his grandson Walter Justin Brown.  Michael was the son of Nancy M. Phipard of West Hartford, CT and the late Kenneth E. Brown of Wellesley, MA. Michael was also the loving brother to Christopher M. Brown and his wife Kimberly of Kingston, MA, Jennifer B. Prigodich and her husband Richard of West Hartford, CT, and Jeffery D. Brown of Ashland, MA. Michael will forever be remembered by his 15 nieces and nephews and is also predeceased by 2 nephews.

Michael graduated from Wellesley High School in 1976 and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree at the University of Rhode Island in 1980. Michael was a Real Estate Broker on Cape Cod from 1984 to 1992 and educated himself in the construction aspect of the business.  His biggest passion was the Martial Arts in which he reached the honorary level of Grandmaster. Michael enjoyed sharing his knowledge with his three sons and countless students on the South Shore, ranging in ages 4 to 74, at all the Yuan Yen Do Karate Center locations. He also loved fast cars and loud music, hiking, fishing, skiing, and challenging everyone to a game on his pool table, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. Michael, we will always carry your memory in our hearts.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) in Marshfield.  Donations in Michael's memory can be made to the Will House, 148 Elliot Street, Beverly MA 01915.
