Michael H. Civitarese, 45, of Taunton (formerly Marshfield), passed away November 11, 2017 due to a genetic heart condition. He is survived by his son Michael S. Civitarese of Quincy and his love, Suzane Skwarto Mello and her son Colby of Taunton. Beloved son of Barbara (Trabucco) And the late Louis Civitatese, Jr. of Marshfield. Brother to six siblings; Jean-Marie Murphy of Summerville, SC., Karen Civitarese of Marshfield, Stephen and wife Tara Civitarese of Centerville, Christine Civitarese of Hyannis, Lynne Civitarese of Pembroke and Kathy Dunnington of Marshfield. He was an awesome Uncle/Bucka to eleven nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Michael graduated from Marshfield High School in 1991. He loved his family, friends, the Patriots and fantasy football. He and Sue recently purchased their first home. He was great at renovations and even hand-built his kitchen table. His proudest accomplishment was his son, Mikey. He spent every possible minute with his boy; playing, studying or just snuggling. He was an amazing dad.

Michael worked at Sprocket Express in Plainville for many years. He was a former manager at Rafferty's Pub and was known for his quick wit, great personality and kind heart.

Per his wishes, Michael has been cremated. Final goodbyes will be at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street (Rte. 139) Marshfield on Sunday, November 19, 2017 with Memorial Visitation from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A private celebration of his life will be held in the future.
