It is with great sadness that the family of Michael E. Seamon announces his passing on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the age of 57.

Michael was born in South Weymouth, MA and lived most of his life in Pembroke and Duxbury, before settling in Plymouth.  Michael was a graduate of Duxbury High School, Dean Junior College, and Bryant College.  He received his degree in Physical Therapy from Newbury College.

Michael was predeceased by his loving and devoted mother, Mary (Boleman) Seamon.  He is also survived by his adoring father, Walter E. Seamon of Duxbury, MA and his brother Walter Seamon and his wife Mary Ann, of Marshfield, MA.  He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephew, Jacqueline, Madison and Zachary Seamon, all of Marshfield, Ma.  His passing will also be felt deeply by his aunts, uncles, many cousins, friends, and co-workers, all of whom he loved dearly.

Michael's greatest joy in life was his family, especially his mother.  He loved photography, traveling and most of all, anything Star Trek.  Michael had the kindest soul and never had a bad word to say about anyone.  He always had a cheerful outlook, and his smile could light up a room.  He was loving, compassionate and full of life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal Street in Marshfield. Interment will be held at a later date.

Michael's family would like to thank the staff at the Pat Roche Hospice House in Hingham, MA and all the nurses from the Norwell VNA and South Shore VNA, for the kindness and compassion shown to Michael and our family during his last days.  We will be forever grateful.
