Michael A. Silletti, of Norwell, formerly of Norwood and Marshfield, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

He was born May 5, 1961 in Norwood,, MA, the son of the late James "Jerry" Silletti and Margaret (Ardolino) Silletti  of Norwood MA.

Beloved twin brother and best friend of Richard F. Silletti, he leaves countless friends whom he loved, especially long-time friend Gregory Murphy and his wife Katherine of Brockton as well as Kim Johnston of Norwood.

Michael graduated from Xavierian Brothers High School in Westwood MA, class of 1980. He was a beloved van driver for special needs children living in Eastern MA. He had an affinity for aviation and logged many hours flying with his brother Richard and friend Bob in his 1953 Twin Engine Beech Aircraft. He loved to travel with Richard and friends, and he had a special fondness of All that is Disney – traveling to the park as often as he could. He was the biggest fan of the Lobster Pie at the former Hilltop Steakhouse in Saugus MA, and truly enjoyed some great meals with his dearest grandparents "Nan and Pup". Michael loved a great meal and a great party. He loved his time living in Marshfield and extremely loved the beach. His favorite color was blue, it was a rare day you caught him in any other color. Michael was a simple man – he knew a little about a whole lot of topics. He could start a conversation with just about anyone he met, a waitress, the mailman or neighbor and he was a good listener. One of his favorite topics were Classic Movies, he could recall the dates of the movie's release and the age of the movie stars; he was a big fan. He will be dearly missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 5:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.
