Michael Anthony Weaver of Marshfield passed away peacefully on May 19th with his loving wife Jeanine Weaver of 52 years by his side. He was a devoted father of Mark Weaver (Erin) of Poughquag, NY and Alyssa Weaver of Marshfield. Grandfather to Helena Grace Weaver and Owen Robert Weaver of Poughquag.

Mike was born on June 22,1946 in Rome, NY. He graduated from The State University of New York of Brockport where he was a standout three sport athlete. Upon completing his Masters degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Physical Education, he moved to Boston where he became a widely respected teacher and coach at Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. Here, he started his coaching career as the boys varsity soccer coach. He then went on to become the varsity football coach and established a winning program. He also developed the first wrestling program in the school's history so his football players could stay conditioned during the offseason. As a devoted teacher he developed an outstanding mentoring program to help make a difference in the lives of his students. Mike was a physical education teacher and coach at Cambridge for 33 years.

Mike was a devoted family man and was loved by everyone including numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as a lifetime of close friends. His warmth and kindness were felt by many. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, watching his Boston sports teams and spending time with his beloved dog Daisy.

Michael is also survived by his loving brother Carl and wife Christy of Okemos Michigan and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his Mother Grace Weaver of Rome, NY.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home at 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield.The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Christine's Church, 1295 Main Street in Marshfield.
