Michele passed away on the morning of November 23, 2024, succumbing to cancer. Though she spent the majority of her life in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, Michele spent her final weeks of life in the loving care of her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter in Marshfield, Massachusetts where they spent much quality time together. They enjoyed playing Yahtzee as well as watching Yellowstone and walking in the nearby bird sanctuary.

Michele was very hard working and dedicated to her job. She spent over 30 years employed at Greenwald Industries in Chester, CT where she started out as an assembler and was quickly promoted to assembly supervisor where she became an integral part of the company's success. She continued in that role until her illness forced her to retire at age 80.

In her spare time, Michele enjoyed feeding and watching wildlife, taking trips to Atlantic City with her daughter, and spending time with her family. Her family was everything to her.

She is survived by her brother Ted, sister-in-law Wendy, her sister Valerie, her daughter Dawn, son Arnie, son John, son-in-law Eric, her four grandchildren (Nico, Karlie, Justin, and Andrew) and nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Elsie, and her brothers Julian, John, and Ronald.

Michele left this earth wishing that her family would find safety in this mixed-up world. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.

In honor of her final wishes, Michele's remains will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Duck River Cemetery in Old Lyme, CT on December 8, 2024.
